Educational objectives
The two-year specialist program in Digital Arts and Interactive Multimedia trains professionals capable of working with critical vision and technical expertise in digital arts, multimedia, and advanced interactive systems.
Through an integrated path between theory, research and design , the course develops artistic, technological and conceptual skills to face the new challenges of contemporary art, including artificial intelligence , virtual, augmented and mixed reality (XR) , computer games , sound spatial design , net art , cybernetics , 3D modelling and immersive design .
The laboratories are spaces for creative experimentation, where students use cutting-edge technologies to design complex interactive experiences, adaptive digital systems, immersive environments, audiovisual installations, and hybrid works that integrate visual, sound, and algorithmic codes. The solid theoretical foundation includes fundamental disciplines such as interface aesthetics , information theory , phenomenology of contemporary art , and art market law , contributing to a critical and interdisciplinary education essential for interpreting and anticipating the transformations underway in the digital art and communication landscape.
