Educational objectives
The course in Cinema Art and Audiovisual Technologies aims to ensure adequate mastery of the methods and techniques involved in research on moving images and their relationship with new media communication technologies, combined with a cultural knowledge of the historical forms of cinematographic art.
Graduates will have:
- the ability to use English effectively, in addition to the mother tongue, in the primary area of expertise and for the exchange of general information.
- adequate cultural, theoretical, and operational training in the methods and content of the different audiovisual languages: documentary, fiction, reportage, promotional video, music video, and web cinema;
- appropriate methodological and critical tools for acquiring skills in the most advanced expressive languages, techniques, and technologies, knowing how to exercise artistic experimentation in specific technological languages, applied to the sectors of cinema, the arts, and various audiovisual communication forms.
